What will you choose to do? </p>
<p>
	Very simple words, but yet they have powerful meaning. We all have choices everyday and it&#39;s how we make those choices that give us our life. We often even are making choices that we are not aware of.&nbsp; When was the last time someone&#39;s mood affected you either negatively or positively.&nbsp; Either way you made the choice there to let them affect you.&nbsp; We come into contact with many people throughout the day and what could happen if we let all of those folks affect what we think, say or do?&nbsp; </p>
<p>
	Well for most that is exactly what happens.&nbsp; But it doesn&#39;t have to be that way.&nbsp; If you make a conscious effort each day to accept responsibility for yourself and your thoughts, it should be much easier to keep from accepting all the negative input from the world.&nbsp; Now the good news is that there is good news.&nbsp; There are good people who like to share good thoughts and actually help make you feel better.&nbsp; Those are the people you want to surround yourself with.&nbsp; </p>
<p>Not only that, but once you start taking total responsibility for your life and your choices you will now start to have those same positive effects on others.&nbsp; How about your kids, your spouse, your friends, your brother, sister or mom or dad?&nbsp; Do you think you could help them make a change in their lives.&nbsp; What would happen if each of us chose to accept responsibility for our choices and help just one other person every day do the same.&nbsp; What would happen to our world? What could happen to our society?</p>
<p>We can make a difference.&nbsp; It doesn&#39;t matter if it is small or large, what matters is that it is different.&nbsp; Change may not occur immediately, but that&#39;s ok.&nbsp; As long as you and I are moving forward, that&#39;s what&#39;s important.&nbsp; </p>
<p>
	So I challenge you today.&nbsp; Start by making the difference with yourself first today and then starting tomorrow, help someone else.&nbsp; Do it for you, do it for them, do it for our world.&nbsp; </p>
<p>Remember, IT&#39;S YOUR CHOICE!&nbsp; WHAT WILL YOU CHOOSE?</p>

The old saying, &ldquo;Curiosity can kill the cat,&rdquo; is something you want to re-evaluate. Sure, if you become curious of something that would obviously cause you harm, then the cat just might die. Curiosity is a gift. We can use this gift to our advantage if we choose, or we can make serious judgments that cause problems. </p>
<p>	As you learn to use your inquisitive tools to your best interest, you will start to focus your attention on the good things in life. Most people walk around looking only at the shallow light of our creation, products and so on. Instead of using a shallow mind, open your mind up to new horizons. An open mind however is not doing what is bad, rather opening your mind up to doing what is right. Too many times, I hear people say they have open minds, but often the minds are open to deviations and nothing more or less. This is not a way to improve your life. Rather, you need to clean your mind of unhealthy actions, behaviors, images, etc, and start developing positive reflections. </p>
<p>	Once you start to focus your attention you can move to change. You have to be willing to make changes to make it happen. Most people fear the unknown. To improve your life however you must not allow the unknown to scare you. The unknown just might be something that works in your favor. In fact, if you want to improve your life, you will start to welcome the unknown to your palace. </p>
<p>	In our minds, we visualize who we think we may be. Most of us fear discovering something new about self. Do not fear what you may discover. You may discover a wonderful person waiting to get out and make the changes that most people fear. Changes are good. do not fear change, since change is a part of life and it is what takes you to new heights in life. When you see something new about you (GOOD OR BAD) take it and use it. If you see something bad, evaluate it carefully to make sure it is bad. If you conclude that this feature about you is bad, figure out ways to change it. You have the power and control inside you to make those changes. What can you do to make those changes. What actions can you take to make your life better? </p>
<p>	Once you discover new details about you move to organize your thoughts, visions, etc, and then sort them out. Take time to evaluate the details. Details have hidden messages you may have overlooked that will carry you to a new life. Do not fear. Fear is the worst problem we face in the world, since fear is one of the ultimate controllers of humankind. </p>
<p>	When you discover details take the volume of information you gain and sort through it. Kick out the bad and bring in the new. Discover new ideas. Discover new relationships. Discover the new you. Play with the details and information you gain and see what you come up with, followed by organizing your new information. Put the pieces of your life together to make a new you. When you check the list of information and details, make sure you visualize the whole pie. Take a view at weight, categories, order, colors, and size and so forth, so that you get the most of your new findings. Once you are finish, build your confidence so that you can take action and carry forward without cease.</p>

<p>	Setting goals is a very significant part of success and positive accomplishments. It is like scaling a 20 feet building and marking early on what feet you would like to reach at this specific period.</p>
<p>	People who set goals literally create a map of their target achievements in life, marking where they should begin, where to pause, where to delve a bit, and where and when to stop. Once this map is created, it allows the map drawer to check where he is in the scheme of things and whether or not he is making some achievements that will take him closer to his goals.</p>
<p>	By setting goals, people will know how they are doing and what they should be doing to achieve their targets or dreams in life. They will know if they can relax or if they have to double their efforts when they are falling short of what is expected of them.</p>
<p>	Goal setting means a person is proactive in dealing with challenges that may affect his plans. Being proactive means one is able to outline possible difficulties that may occur as well as the solutions to these difficulties. By doing this, a person is not easily scared or defeated when challenges occur because he has already prepared for them. He knows they can happen and he has prepared a solution or strategy when that time comes.</p>
<p>	Setting goals will enable people to track their progress in whatever endeavor they have set out to do. It will help people become more confident in themselves and more motivated to achieve their plans.</p>
<p>	However, goal setting is not enough, as this should be accompanied by a positive outlook and self-discipline. A person may have a blueprint of where he wants to go, but if he does not have the necessary discipline to carry out the plan, then nothing will come out of it.</p>
<p>	To be successful in goal setting, the goals that one has set for himself should be realistic and based on his capabilities, as well as selected and important external factors. Being too ambitious in setting up goals can make the goals unrealistic and difficult to achieve. However, do not also set goals that are too low because this might discourage one&rsquo;s vision instead of achieving it.</p>
<p>	It is also necessary that the person setting the blueprint for his direction should also include a time frame within which the goal will be achieved. This way, he is able to determine if he has to fast track his strategies or to slow down a bit. Goal setting will also help a person check if he is performing within his plans or if he is doing things towards the achievement of his plans.&nbsp; </p>
<p>	Once you have achieved something, even a little of what you hoped to achieve, then you should always give yourself a pat in the back to keep you motivated. But do not be too complacent with any little achievement, as this may cause you to backslide.</p>
<p>	Setting goals can be used in any aspect of one&rsquo;s life &#8211; from one&rsquo;s personal or family life, to his career and finances.&nbsp; Goal setting can be as simple as setting a target weight when you wish to lose pounds or something big, like earning your first million.</p>
<p>	When setting goals, it is always important to set standards that would suit your present situation, your capabilities, and other factors that may influence the achievement of your goal.<br />

	Here are some of the things you have to plan out for a smooth sailing journey towards self improvement.</p>
<p>	<strong>Get up early.</strong>&nbsp; To be able to accomplish this and still avoid losing any precious sleep, you can go to bed just a half hour earlier to get up a half hour earlier than you usually do.</p>
<p>	What does this have to do with self improvement? For different people the answer can vary slightly.&nbsp; But you will find that almost all successful people are early risers. This gets your day off early and to a great start. Challenge yourself to really become fully awake and get rid of early morning sluggishness.</p>
<p>	After you are completely alert step outside of your house and watch the sunrise. Nothing like the view of a fresh morning to set you out on your self improvement destination. This simple but immensely satisfying act will lift your spirits and help with self improvement. If you are unable to do this, take a brisk walk, jog or run depending upon what you prefer and what you are physically capable of.</p>
<p>	<strong>Eat breakfast.</strong>&nbsp; To start your day out on the right foot and stay in keeping with your self improvement plan this is practically a necessity. You need the energy this will provide you with to accomplish your daily tasks. You don&#39;t start a trip with an empty tank of gas in your car, why would you do that with your body every day?</p>
<p>	If you are overly pressed for time you might try cereal and milk or even a few pieces of fresh fruit would do. Any of these are better alternatives than skipping breakfast.</p>
<p>	<strong>Smile a lot.&nbsp; </strong>When you go places, smile more at other people, even if you find it a bit difficult at first. Just curve your lips up a bit as you make eye contact with another human being. You&#39;ll be amazed at how you feel. Others will also notice.</p>
<p>	<strong>An effective goal is written.</strong>&nbsp; The primary purpose of your self improvement plan is to create effective goals and to be effective they must be written.</p>
<p>	This is extremely helpful and essential because there will be times when your self improvement goals will make you uncomfortable and you may lose site of them. When this happens, you need to have them written down to keep yourself on track and accountable. Posting your goals on the refrigerator, bulletin board, or in your planner ensures that you will be reminded of them on a daily basis. </p>
<p>	<strong>Review them on a regular basis.</strong>&nbsp; You must review your self improvement goals in order to stay on track. Check out your plan every day when you get up in the morning and also before you go to bed at night. Reviewing them causes you to commit to their achievement. </p>
<p>	According to studies, only 1% of the population actually understands how to effectively set goals. This is the reason why so many New Year&#39;s resolutions are not followed. Have you written any yet for 2010?</p>
<p>	And this is also why people keep failing at the very same goal. The desire to improve yourself is genuine, but the process you go about while seeking this desire is faulty. </p>
<p>	The positive results of achieving any goal are unforgettable. An individual&#39;s failure to achieve is not because they are incompetent but because they simply do not know the process of success. </p>
<p>	Have an effective self improvement plan. Follow what is written, be patient and celebrate your success to come.</p>

<p>	Work, meetings, deadlines, appointments, telephone calls, shopping, taking the dogs out etc. &ndash; all these are things most people have to accomplish daily. </p>
<p>	Most of the times, on the waiting list there are other things like: family, friends and even ourselves. </p>
<p>	Sometimes we discover too late that the points mentioned on the waiting lists are, in fact, the most important and, unfortunately, sometimes, we don&rsquo;t realize this at all, so find ourselves wondering for what reason we are so unhappy. </p>
<p>	All this people know that time is more important than money &ndash; time means, first of all, life and, more than that, it means our lives. </p>
<p>	That is way we have the obligation not to surrender in stressful situations and to go fighting for the joy of living. </p>
<p>	Let us not forget also that deficient management of time can produce tremendous health problems, both at the physical and mental level.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p>
<p>	But there is good news! Time can be domesticated &ndash; we can make it, in certain manner, obey us. First step in implementing this process is to identify the elements that robe your time. Normally, they are divided into two groups:</p>
<p>	The external factors (unexpected phone calls, very long phone conversations, unplanned visits, the policy of open doors, not sufficiently trained personnel, frequent meetings, interruptions caused by colleagues, friends and family etc.)</p>
<p>	The internal factors &ndash; related strictly to our own persons (priorities and objectives that change, the lack of a daily working plan, lack of self imposed deadlines, the tendency to take care of too many things at the same time, disorder, lateness in resolving the conflicts, incapacity of saying no, lack of decision, tiredness).</p>
<p>	By reading the above enumeration, you probably pictured recalled all the similar situations that you went through. Now, all you have to do is to find a way to defeat and eliminate them, so that you can be the mater of your own time again. </p>
<p>	Here are three possible ways in which you can do that:</p>
<p>	Get used to write everything down. It is useful, especially if you have a bad memory. Otherwise you might fail to remember to go to important meetings, to make important phone calls, to answer messages you promised you would answer. </p>
<p>	You can also write down great ideas and inspirations that occur to you in the most unexpected moments.</p>
<p>	Make a list of priorities. It takes you very little time to draw it and you can even do it while you&rsquo;re having your morning coffee. Write down, the things you need to do that day, in the order of their importance and urgency. </p>
<p>	Learn to say no. One big mistake that a lot of us make is that we put other people&rsquo;s problems in front of ours. Nevertheless, by helping them in a bad moment for us, we give rise to frustration, stress and we find ourselves unable to respect previous engagements.</p>
<p>	All things in life are possible as long as you make time for the important pieces. It takes patience and a little determination and commitment, but in the end you will achieve your goals.</p>

<p>	Most people don&rsquo;t discover what they want in life until it&rsquo;s time to die &ndash; and that&rsquo;s a shame.</p>
<p>	Most people spend the best years of their lives watching television or doing things they dislike. An author described humanity by saying, &ldquo;Most people die at twenty and are buried at eighty.&rdquo; Are you one of the living zombies?</p>
<p>	What do you really want in life?</p>
<p>	Some people struggle in answering such question. When asked what they want or what their goals in life are, many are unsure. They dillydally in their decision, hardly giving any thought about what they want in life. People without definite goals are letting time pass them by. Are you one of these people?</p>
<p>	If you are undecided about what you want out of life, do not worry.&nbsp; There are many ways of discovering your purpose in life.</p>
<p>	To discover what you want in life, try looking deep into your heart. Oftentimes, people are ruled by logic. People live by what they think they should be or by what others like them to be. The discovery process is the perfect time to listen to your heart. What your heart desires comes from the whispers of your authentic self. Your authentic self is the real you. &nbsp;</p>
<p>	Listen to your heart to be able to listen to your authentic self. What your heart says usually feels right. What your heart desires is what you usually love to do and this represents your passion. Anything done with passion is like play where the task is accomplished without hesitation. You pour out your very best and feel no pressure or resistance. </p>
<p>	You will totally enjoy doing things that are your passion. Setbacks, difficulties, and obstacles will make it more challenging, but should not deter you from pursuing your goals. Naturally, there may be barriers that may prevent you from reaching your goal, but your heart&rsquo;s desire will find ways to overcome these barriers so that you may ultimately get what you want in life. Remember this: the universe supports people who are pursuing their passion and those who are pursuing their destiny. </p>
<p>	However, this does not mean that you don&rsquo;t use your head. People are born with both the mind and heart. Your duty is to live your best life and be in harmony with your mind and heart. The poet Rumi wisely said, &ldquo;Live completely in the head and you cannot feel the breath and rhythm of life. Live completely in the heart and you may find yourself acting like a love-struck fool with poor judgment and discipline. It&rsquo;s all a fine balance &#8211; the head and heart must forge a lifetime partnership if one wants to live a beautiful life.&rdquo; &nbsp;</p>
<p>	Listen to your instinct. Part of human nature is the mysterious and spontaneous reaction on things. Often times, these are called instincts. Your authentic self communicates with you and guides you via instincts. Instincts are those gentle nudges that urge you to act and follow a certain path. Your role then is to listen attentively.</p>
<p>	Often times, we listen to what others say and allow them to run our lives. Parents often do this to their children. &ldquo;We come from a family of doctors, so my son must also be a doctor.&rdquo; How often do we hear this from parents who have good intentions for their children? Parents unconsciously block the true expression of their child&rsquo;s real self and calling. Friends and critics will discourage you and point out the impossibility of your dream. Before heeding their advice, evaluate the accomplishments of the critics. Did they achieve their dreams? Do they dream big at all?</p>
<p>	Remember, it is your destiny that is in line, not theirs. It doesn&rsquo;t mean, though, that you will not listen to what other people say. Hear them out just the same. But the final decision should be yours.</p>
<p>	There is only one thing to remember: Every person, to live truly and greatly, must define how he wants to live and what his brightest life will look like.&nbsp; Listen to your instincts and follow your heart&rsquo;s desire. You will never go wrong.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a class="highslide" href="http://www.movewithintention.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/NATOT130.jpg" onclick="return vz.expand(this)"><img alt="NATOT130 300x240 Insecurities...Its not just us" class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-719" height="240" src="http://www.movewithintention.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/NATOT130-300x240.jpg" title="NATOT130" width="300" /></a>Sometimes, when all our doubts, fears and insecurities wrap ourselves up, we always come up with the idea of &ldquo;I wish I was somebody else.&rdquo;&nbsp; More often than not, we think and believe that someone or rather, most people are better than us.- when in reality, the fact is, most people are more scared than us.</p>
<p>	You spot a totally eye-catching girl sitting by herself at a party, casually sipping on a glass of wine. You think to yourself, &ldquo;she looks so perfectly calm and confident.&rdquo; But if you could read through her transparent mind, you would see a bunch of clouds of thoughts and you might just be amazed that she&rsquo;s thinking &ldquo;are people talking about why I am seated here alone?&#8230; Why don&rsquo;t guys find me attractive? &hellip;I don&rsquo;t like my ankles, they look too skinny&hellip; I wish I was as intelligent as my best friend.&rdquo;</p>
<p>	We look at a young business entrepreneur and say &ldquo;Whoa&hellip; what else could he ask for?&rdquo; He stares at himself at the mirror and murmur to himself, &ldquo;I hate my big eyes&hellip; I wonder why my friends won&rsquo;t talk to me&hellip; I hope mom and dad would work things out.&rdquo; </p>
<p>	Isn&rsquo;t it funny? We look at other people, envy them for looking so outrageously perfect and wish we could trade places with them, while they look at us and thinks of the same thing. We are insecure of other people who themselves are insecure of us. We suffer from low self-esteem, lack of self-confidence and lose hope in self improvement because we are engrossed in quiet desperation.</p>
<p>	One key to self improvement is to LISTEN and TALK to a trusted friend. Find someone who you find comfort in opening up with even the most gentle topics you want to discuss. Ask questions like &ldquo;do you think I am ill-mannered?&rdquo;,&nbsp; &ldquo;Do I always sound so argumentative?&rdquo;,&nbsp; &ldquo;Do I talk too loud?&rdquo;,&nbsp; &ldquo;Does my breath smell?&rdquo;,&nbsp; &ldquo;Do I ever bore you when were together?&rdquo;.&nbsp; In this way, the other person will obviously know that you are interested in the process of self improvement. Lend her your ears for comments and criticisms and don&rsquo;t give her answers like &ldquo;Don&rsquo;t exaggerate! That&rsquo;s just the way I am!&rdquo;&nbsp; Open up your mind and heart as well. And in return, you may want to help your friend with constructive criticism that will also help her improve her self.</p>
<p>Many organizations use this method of improving the leadership in their organization. It is called 360 Degree Feedback and can be useful to us as individuals as well.&nbsp; </p>
<p>	One of Whitney Houston&rsquo;s songs says &ldquo;Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all.&rdquo; True enough. In order to love others, you must love yourself too. Remember, you cannot give what you do not have.</p>
<p>	Before telling other people some ways on how to improve themselves, let them see that you yourself is a representation and a product of self improvement. Self improvement makes us better people, we then inspire other people, and then the rest of the world will follow.</p>
<p>	Stop thinking of yourselves as second-rate beings. Forget the repetitive thought of &ldquo;If only I was richer&hellip; if only I was thinner&rdquo; and so on.&nbsp; Accepting your true self is the first step to self improvement. We need to stop comparing ourselves to others only to find out at the end that we&rsquo;ve got 10 more reasons to envy them.</p>
<p>	We all have our insecurities. Nobody is perfect. We always wish we had better things, better features, better body parts, etc. But life need not to be perfect for people to be happy about themselves.Self improvement and loving yourself is not a matter of shouting to the whole world that you are perfect and you are the best. It&rsquo;s the virtue of acceptance and contentment. When we begin to improve ourselves, we then begin to feel contented and happy.</p>

Who hasn&#39;t fantasized about being the one who hits the game-winning homer? Who hasn&#39;t dreamed of being the homecoming queen? And how many times have we dreamed of being rich, successful, or happy with our relationships?</p>
<p>	Often, we dream big dreams and have great aspirations. Unfortunately, our dreams remain just that &ndash; dreams. And our aspirations easily collect dust in our attic.</p>
<p>	This is a sad turn of events in our life. Instead of experiencing exciting adventures in self actualization, we get caught up in the humdrum of living from day-to-day just barely existing.</p>
<p>	But you know what? Life could be so much better, if only we learned to aim higher.</p>
<p>	The most common problem to setting goals is the word impossible. Most people get hung up thinking I can&#39;t do this. It&#39;s too hard. It&#39;s too impossible. No one can do this.</p>
<p>	However, if everyone thought that, there would be no inventions, no innovations, and no breakthroughs in human accomplishment.</p>
<p>	Remember that scientists were baffled when they took a look at the humble bumblebee. Theoretically, they said, it was impossible for the bumblebee to fly. Unfortunately for the bumble, bee no one has told it so. So fly it does.</p>
<p>	On the other hand, some people suffer from dreaming totally outrageous dreams and not acting on them. The result? Broken dreams, and tattered aspirations. </p>
<p>	If you limit yourself with self-doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will never be able to break past what you deem impossible. If you reach too far out into the sky without working towards your goal, you will find yourself clinging on to the impossible dream.</p>
<p>	Try this exercise. Take a piece of paper and write down some goals in your life. Under one header, list down things &lsquo;you know you can do&rsquo;. Under another header, write the things &lsquo;you might be able to do.&rsquo; And under one more, list the things that that are &lsquo;impossible for you to do.&rsquo;</p>
<p>	Now look at all the headers strive every day to accomplish the goals that are under things &lsquo;you know you can do&rsquo;. Check them when you are able to accomplish them. As you slowly are able to check all of your goals under that heading, try accomplishing the goals under the other header-the one that reads &lsquo;you might be able to do.&rsquo;</p>
<p>	As of the items you wrote under things I could do are accomplished, you can move the goals that are under things that are &lsquo;impossible for you to do&rsquo; to the list of things &lsquo;you might be able to do.&rsquo;</p>
<p>	As you iterate through this process, you will find out that the goals you thought were impossible become easier to accomplish. And the impossible begin to seem possible after all.</p>
<p>	You see, the technique here is not to limit your imagination. It is to aim high, and start working towards that goal little by little. However, it also is unwise to set a goal that is truly unrealistic. </p>
<p>	Those who just dream towards a goal without working hard end up disappointed and disillusioned.</p>
<p>	On the other hand, if you told someone a hundred years ago that it was possible for man to be on the moon, they would laugh at you. If you had told them that you could send mail from here to the other side of the world in a few seconds, they would say you were out of your mind. But, through sheer desire and perseverance, these impossible dreams are now realities.</p>
<p>	Thomas Edison once said that genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. Nothing could be truer. For one to accomplish his or her dreams, there has to be had work and discipline. But take note that that 1% has to be a think-big dream, and not some easily accomplished one.</p>
<p>	Ask any gym rat and he or she will tell you that there can be no gains unless you are put out of your comfort zone. Remember the saying, &ldquo;No pain, no gain&rdquo;? That is as true as it can be.</p>
<p>	So dream on, friend! Don&rsquo;t get caught up with your perceived limitations. Think big and work hard to attain those dreams. As you step up the ladder of progress, you will just about find out that the impossible has just become a little bit more possible.</p>

Sometimes, when I feel like the world is just too heavy, I look around and find people who continued to live fascinating and wonderful lives. And then thoughts come popping into my mind like bubbles from nowhere &ndash; &ldquo;How did their life become so adorably sweet? How come they still can manage to laugh and play around despite a busy stressful life?&rdquo;&nbsp; Then I pause and observed for awhile&hellip; I figured out that maybe, they start to work on a place called &lsquo;self&rsquo;.</p>
<p>	So, how does one become genuinely happy? Step 1 is to love yourself. </p>
<p>	On of my professors once said that &ldquo;loving means accepting.&rdquo;&nbsp; To love oneself means to accept that you are not a perfect being, but behind the imperfections must lie a great ounce of courage to be able to discover ways on how to improve your repertoire to recover from our mistakes. </p>
<p>	Genuine happiness also pertains to contentment. When you are contented with the job you have, the way you look, with your family, your friends, the place you live in, your car, and all the things you now have &ndash; truly, you know the answer to the question &ldquo;how to be genuinely happy.&rdquo;</p>
<p>	When we discover a small start somewhere from within, that small start will eventually lead to something else, and to something else. But if you keep questioning life lit it has never done you any good, you will never be able to find genuine happiness.</p>
<p>	I believe that life is about finding out about right and wrong, trying and failing, wining and losing. These are things that happen as often as you inhale and exhale. Failure, in a person&rsquo;s life has become as abundant and necessary as air. But this should not hinder us from becoming happy.</p>
<p>	How to be genuinely happy in spite all these? I tell you&hellip; every time you exert effort to improve the quality of life and your being, whether it is cleaning up your room, helping a friend, taking care of your sick dog, fail on board exams and trying again, life gives you equivalent points for that. </p>
<p>	Imagine life as a big score board like those which are used in the NFLs. Every time you take a step forward, you make scoring points. Wouldn&rsquo;t it be nice to look at that board at the end of each game and think to yourself &ldquo;Whew! I got a point today. I&rsquo;m glad I gave it a shot.&rdquo;, instead of looking at it all blank and murmur &ldquo;Geez, I didn&rsquo;t even hit a score today. I wish I had the guts to try out. We could have won!&rdquo; and then walk away.</p>
<p>	Genuine happiness isn&rsquo;t about driving the hottest Formula 1 car, nor getting the employee of the year award, earning the highest 13th month pay, or beating the sales quota. Sometimes, the most sought after prizes in life doesn&rsquo;t always go to the fastest, the strongest, the bravest or not even the best. So, how do you become genuinely happy?&nbsp; Every one has his own definition of &lsquo;happiness&rsquo;. Happiness for a writer may mean launching as much best selling books as possible. Happiness for a basketball rookie may mean getting the rookie of the year award. Happiness for a beggar may mean a lot of money. Happiness for a business man may mean success. So, really now, how do we become genuinely happy? Simple. You don&rsquo;t have to have the best things in this world. Its about doing and making the best out of every single thing. When you find yourself smiling at your own mistake and telling your self &ldquo;Oh, I&rsquo;ll do better next time&rdquo;, you carry with you a flame of strong will power to persevere that may spread out like a brush fire. You possess a willingness to stand up again and try &ndash; that will make you a genuinely happy person. </p>
<p>	When you learn to accept yourself and your own faults. You pass step 1 in the project &ldquo;how to become genuinely happy&rdquo;.For as long as you know how to accept others, you will also be accepted. For as long as you love and know how to love, you will receive love ten folds back.</p>
<p>	Again, throw me that same question &ldquo;how to become genuinely happy?&rdquo;. I&rsquo;ll refer you to a friend of mine who strongly quoted- &ldquo;Most of us know that laughter is the best medicine to life&rsquo;s aches and pain. But most of us don&rsquo;t know that the best kind of laughter is laughter over self. Coz then you don&rsquo;t just become happy&hellip; you become free.&rdquo;</p>
